Is Invisalign more expensive than braces?
No. Treatment with Invisalign® is almost always very similar to what the cost would be for comparable treatment with clear braces.
Is there an additional charge for retainers?
No. The cost of your treatment plan will include any retainers that are needed to hold your teeth in their new position. It also includes all of your follow-up visits for the first year. However, there will be a minimal charge to repair or replace damaged or lost retainers.
What about financing?
Some of our patients choose to pay in full for orthodontic treatment, which can result in a small discount. However, most patients choose to finance their orthodontic treatment over the course of several months or even a few years. We have lots of patients who are in braces or Invisalign® for only 12 months that are able to finance their treatment over 36 months! Our financing is very flexible and we can customize a plan to fit your financial situation.
Will my Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cover my braces?
Orthodontic treatment almost always qualifies for FSA reimbursement. We have several patients who utilize FSA's and we have special forms we can provide to help with reimbursement. If your employer offers an FSA, let us know and we will help you get started.
Are there any other hidden costs or fees?
No. The price you pay for your orthodontic treatment plan covers everything we do to complete that treatment plan. It even covers your retainer adjustments for a year after your treatment is complete. However, there will be a minimal charge to repair or replace damaged or lost retainers.
